Overview

Browser-based face-recognition attendance — enrol and punch from any laptop webcam, no app or dedicated device to install.

FaceUp is the browser front-end to the Cams Face Match Engine: it captures a face from the webcam, runs liveness / anti-spoofing, and records attendance over the Cams Web API. It is the zero-install way to pilot or run face attendance. Pair it with the live tool at camsbiometrics.com/tool/faceup to try it instantly with a device serial. For mobile/tablet kiosks use Tablet Face Attendance; for CCTV use the Stream Engine (CatchCam); for the raw server API use the Face Match Engine.

Do I need to install anything?

No. FaceUp runs in the browser using the device webcam — there is no app, driver or dedicated terminal.

How is it different from Tablet Face Attendance or CatchCam?

FaceUp = laptop/desktop webcam in the browser; Tablet Face Attendance = a mobile/tablet kiosk app; CatchCam = recognition on a CCTV/RTSP camera; the Face Match Engine = the server-side API behind them all.

Can I try it without my own hardware?
