Already own a ZKTeco, eSSL, BioMax, or Identix device? A Cams Protocol Update enables the Web API on that hardware so it can push attendance and accept remote user management โ once the device is validated as compatible.
Overview
The Protocol Update is a per-device service that adds Cams Web API support to validated third-party biometric machines. Each device must first be verified through the developer compatibility bot before a protocol update can be applied. It is the mechanism that brings non-Cams hardware into the same real-time attendance and remote-management surface as native Cams devices.
Customers and integrators with existing third-party biometric hardware who want to bring it onto the Cams Web API.
Capabilities
Make existing ZKTeco/eSSL/BioMax/Identix devices speak the Cams Web API.
Applied only after the device passes the developer compatibility check.
